Wicksteed Park Annual Fireworks Display

This year, Wicksteed’s legendary Firework night event on Saturday 5th November will host a variety of family friendly activities including: speciality fairground rides, performances and entertainment shows, panoramic views of the lake and, of course, the colourful firework celebration, set to music, blasting over the scenic skyline. Tickets start at £5, but there is also the chance to book a Top Secret VIP Package which boasts a secret ‘experience like no other.’

Northampton’s Annual Firework Spectacular

Hosted at Northampton Racecourse by Northampton Town Council, the Annual Firework Spectacular will be taking place on Saturday 5th November this year. Due to the historical links of the Racecourse to Northampton’s history, this display will be sure to wow at one of the town’s most famous landmarks. Gates are set to open from 2pm with live entertainment starting at 4.30pm before the fireworks later on at 6pm. There is plenty on offer including live music, fire performances, funfair rides and food stalls.

Thrapston Fireworks Display

Make your way to Thrapston Fireworks Display on Saturday 5th November at the sports field on Chancery Lane, hosted by Thrapston Town Council. The display is set to begin at 7pm but they encourage earlier arrival at around 6.45pm. The event itself is free to attend, but donations are recommended – donation buckets will be raising money for The Haemophilia Society. Parking is limited so walking (if possible!) is suggested.

Daventry Fireworks Spectacular Display

Daventry’s annual fireworks display is returning this year on Saturday 5th November from 6pm onwards at The Parker E-ACT Academy. This spectacular free event is a great celebration for all ages with a firework soundtrack spanning the decades and plenty of food stalls serving up a wide range of sweet and savoury food including sausages, hot dogs, candy floss, retro sweets and more.

Corby’s Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular

Corby’s skies will be lit up with a fantastical free firework display on Friday 4th November this year as the annual occasion returns bigger and better than ever. Organised by North Northamptonshire Council, the event will be held in the area around the boating lake with a bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks scheduled half an hour later. This year there will once again be food stalls on site (after they lacked last year due to the pandemic) alongside a torchlight precession leaving Corby International Pool, before the bonfire, at 6.45pm. Make sure to wrap up warm – and bring a torch!

Rushden Fireworks

The 53rd Annual Firework Display, organised by Nene Valley District Scouts, will be taking place again this year at Hall Park in Rushden on Saturday 5th November. With the fun starting at 6.30pm, tickets are cheaper bought in advance from any Nene Valley Scout Group or other chosen vendors. Parking is available nearby.

Boughton Pocket Park Bonfire and Fireworks Night

Boughton Pocket Park Bonfire Night is back with a bang this year! With gates opening on Saturday 5th November from 4pm, bring your torches and that warm weather wear! Street food and refreshments are available on-site. As this is a slightly earlier event with a bonfire at 5.30pm and fireworks by Titanium Fireworks at 6pm, it may be more suitable for those with younger children. Tickets are £4.75 each or, for a family of 4, £15. Children under 2 go free!

Santa Pod Raceway’s Fireworks Frenzy

Held a day earlier than most of the events in Northampton this year on Friday 4th November, Santa Pod Raceway’s Fireworks Frenzy is going to be a big one. With a bespoke display from Titanium Fireworks (the company behind London’s NYE show, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay and the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony) it is sure to be a crowd-friendly favourite. There will also be access to go karts, inflatables and a climbing wall, monster truck rides, mini monster trucks (for the little ones), funfair rides, bars and caterers. Advance booking only.

Grange Park Annual Fireworks

Grange Park Parish Council’s Annual Fireworks celebration is being held on Saturday 5th November this year in Foxfield Country Park. Another real family-friendly choice, the event also includes children’s rides, sweets, food stalls, a bar, a tombola and light-up toys. Gates open up at 5.30pm and fireworks will start at 7pm. Although this is a free event, donations will be gratefully received.

Brackley Fireworks

Brackley’s free-to-attend Fireworks Display will open it’s gates at 5pm at the St John’s Site of Magdalen College School on Saturday 5th November. Always a popular event, this year’s celebration will include live entertainment, local community stalls, games, refreshments (including a BBQ run by the Scouts) and a fantastic firework extravaganza which will begin at 7pm. This year’s sponsor, Mercedes-AMG Petronas, will have their F1 car on display too.
